Everything you need to know before your stay

All bookings made at Casa do Coucheiro are subject to the following terms and conditions, which are deemed accepted when the booking is confirmed.

Payment policy

50% at the time of booking

50% of the total amount must be paid at the time of booking.

Remaining 50%

The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 14 days before the arrival date. If payment is not received within the specified period, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit paid at the time of booking will not be refunded.

Cancellation policy

More than 14 days

Bookings are 100% refundable if cancelled more than 14 days before the arrival date.

Between 14 and 8 days

Bookings are 50% refundable if cancelled between 14 and 8 days before the arrival date.

7 days or less

Bookings cancelled 7 days or less before the arrival date are non-refundable and the full booking amount will be due.

At check-out, the kitchen must be left tidy, all kitchenware washed and rubbish bags disposed of in the appropriate public waste containers.

Pets

Your pet is welcome too

Pets are welcome at no additional cost, provided they are not allowed on beds or sofas and are not left alone at the property at any time. Please let us know at the time of booking if you will be bringing any pets.

If, after check-out, pet hair is found on beds or sofas, any pet-related residue or stains are found, or there are odours requiring specific cleaning, an additional cleaning charge of €50 will apply.

If a pet causes any other damage to the property, the corresponding repair costs will be charged.

Security deposit

750 € Security deposit

During your stay

A €750 security deposit is required and will be charged to your card one day before arrival.

The deposit will be refunded in full after check-out, once the property has been inspected and compliance with the accommodation policies has been confirmed.

If any damage resulting from negligence or improper use of the property is found, the cost of repairing the damage will be charged.

Other house rules

For a comfortable and respectful stay

Responsibility of the booking holder

The person who made the booking is responsible for ensuring that everyone in the group complies with these rules, as well as for any damage caused during the stay.

No smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the property. If a tobacco smell is detected indoors after check-out, a €100 charge will apply for additional cleaning and odour removal.

Quiet hours

Please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum in the outdoor areas (garden and terrace) after 11:00 pm.

Occupancy

Only guests registered on the booking are permitted to stay at or access the property.

Furniture and equipment

Furniture and equipment must not be moved between rooms, and items intended for indoor use must not be taken outside.

Guest registration

In accordance with current regulations, all guests over the age of 14 must provide the required ID card or passport details so that guest registration can be completed before check-in.
